Most locksmiths refer European vehicles to the dealer because they lack the tools. We don't. Here's what we do on-site at your location anywhere in DFW.
European vehicles use more sophisticated immobilizer systems than most domestic cars. BMW's FEM/BDC modules, Mercedes EIS/ESL ignition locks, and Audi MQB transponders all require specific tools that communicate in the vehicle's native protocol — not just generic OBD adapters.
Most locksmiths carry one basic programmer that handles simple transponders. When a BMW or Range Rover owner calls, they send them to the dealer — which means a tow, a wait, and a bill that's often 3–4× what we charge for the same job.
We invested in the equipment specifically because there's a real gap in DFW for European key programming done on-site, at fair prices, without a dealer visit.
Everything needed to program a European key is in the van — key machines, programmers, and the right blades for every make. We don't go back to a shop.
Real jobs on real European vehicles — photographed at the location, not a studio. This is what we do every week across Dallas-Fort Worth.
If you don't see your make listed, call us — chances are we have the tool for it.
"Had a BMW with no working keys at all. Called Guardian and they came out the same day, programmed a new key on the spot. Saved me a $800 dealer bill. Absolutely professional."
"Lost my Range Rover key and the dealer wanted 3 days and a fortune. Guardian came to my office in Frisco in under 30 minutes and had the key done before my next meeting."
"My Audi fob died and three other locksmiths said they couldn't do it. Guardian came out, had the right tool, and fixed it in 20 minutes. Should have called them first."
Yes — we carry the same class of tools dealers use. The Xhorse VVDI2 for BMW reads the ISN directly from the DME/CAS module, and the VVDI MB handles Mercedes infrared and proximity keys. We do this regularly across DFW, on-site at the customer's location.
All-keys-lost is more involved but we handle it regularly. For most BMW models we can read the ISN through the OBD port or from the DME directly. For some older models it requires soldering to the DME — we carry the equipment for that too. Call us with your year and model and we'll tell you exactly what's involved.
Typically 40–60% less for the same quality result. Dealers have massive overhead and charge accordingly. We don't. Call us with your year, make, and model and we'll give you a firm price before we come out — no surprises.
We use high-quality aftermarket keys that are functionally identical to OEM — same chip, same blade profile, same signal. For some vehicles we can also source genuine OEM shells. If you have a preference, mention it when you call and we'll let you know what's available for your car.
We come to you — home, office, parking lot, wherever the car is in DFW. That's the whole point of a mobile service. No tow truck needed, no waiting at a shop. Most jobs are done in 30–60 minutes on-site.
